Música 4º, semana del 14 de abril

Last week we start to learn some things about the opera. You can remember review the last post. And this week, we going to continue whit the opera, but focus on the great composer: W.A. Mozart.

MOZART AND THE OPERA

Mozart's operas have been present in the history of music in general and in the opera in particular. Their unmistakable mark, makes us identify them easily. Especially, his latest operas have the highest quality in the history of opera. These operas have been represented over the years, and continue to be of interest to most composers, critics, etc.
In total, Mozart composed 22 operas, although some of them he didn't get to finish them, and after his death, other composers had to complete them, often commissioned by great opera producers.

Now we going to listen small pieces of the most famous operas. We could listen, in the last post, a few of these, but now we going to know the most representative parts:

The magic flute:

Abduction from Seraglio:

Don Giovanni

The Marriage of Figaro

Cosi fan tutte

After listen, you can answer the questions:

Do you know any of these? Do you remember when or where you have listen this one? Do you like it?

If you don´t know anyone, what of these do you prefer? Why?

Send me the answer to agarriaga@edu.jccm.es

Finally, you can listen to this audio:

You listen to this song with headphones (put on the 2 headphones).

It is the new music of the Pentatonix, composed with 8D technology.

You have to listen to it only with headphones. It will be the first time that you will listen to that song with your brain and not with your ears. You will feel the music from outside and not from the headphones. Feel the effects of this new technology.

It is amazing!!!!
