FILM MUSIC

Music has been essential in the world of cinema since the very beginnings.

Before we could listen to dialogues in movies, the music in silent films already taught us to understand any scene, by transmitting feelings, emotions, conversations, etc. An example is this scene from "The Great Dictator" by Charles Chaplin.

Over time, the composition of music and sounds for cinema has been refined even further, being able to reproduce special effects, sometimes with instruments and sometimes with strange objects.

During the history of cinema we can highlight many musicians who have dedicated themselves almost exclusively to this world and who have become great composers of great pieces, such as:

Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Mission or Cinema Paradiso), Hans Zimmer (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King, Gladiator or Batman, The Dark Knight), John Williams (E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, the Indiana Jones saga, Harry Potter and Shark) or Alberto Iglesias (Volver, The Constant Gardener, The Kite Runner and Dolor y gloria)

As you can see, these are just some of the best composers of the original soundtracks that have set your cinema sessions.
